Picnic Road Trip [07/03/09]   

July is picnic time on the wine road with the WOW! You'll have 3 days to visit each winery and pick up all of the parts of a beautiful presentation-quality wine accessory set in a beautiful wood case. Tickets are $60 and each ticket is good for one accessory set and tasting and food pairing for up to two adults. Tickets are limited for this event and are on sale now.

Tailgate Road Trip [09/25/09]

The Tailgate Road Trip will be something special this year, with the first-ever Pigskin Cookoff! The WOW wineries will be cooking up their best barbecue and you will be the judge.

Hit the Road to kick off the Holiday Season with the Way Out Wineries.

What's GREEN, all black and useful all over? The WOW Wine Tote! This fully-recyclable, reusable six bottle wine tote is yours free when you visit WOW wineries and buy enough wine to fill it up - and you don't have to buy it all at once! Pick up your WOW tally card and we'll track your purchases by stamping it for each bottle you buy at one of our member wineries. When you get that sixth bottle, you'll get the tote bag to carry them home in. This soft fabric bag is strong, extremely light weight and folds to fit almost anywhere, so you can bring it back again and again.

WOW Road Trippers: You'll fill one or more of these totes with the award-winning wines from the Way Out Wineries. You'll get a tote for each six bottles that you buy, so it will be easier than ever to get home with these great wines!

The Way Out Wineries is a group of boutique wineries in an area of the state you can generally describe as the "middle", from the north part of the Texas Hill Country to just south of the metroplex.

Rolling hills, wide horizons, big skies and picturesque towns are part of what our "corner" of the state has to offer - tailor made for weekend road trips! So, we decided to get together and host some special events to make these road trips memorable.

This part of the state has so many attractions - great places to stay, wonderful cuisine, great shopping and that real, down-home Texas hospitality. The countryside changes with the season, and each one will stand out in your memory when you visit.
